Needs reply
A focused queue of open comments and mentions across selected accounts.
Conversation context
The source post, incoming comment, owner replies, and available follow-ups in chronological order.
AI suggestions
Up to three grounded reply options that remain drafts until you choose one.
Improve
Rewrite a non-empty reply draft while preserving the conversation and platform constraints.
Supported conversation sources
Replies is a product inbox built from the activity each network exposes through its API. It is not a permanent archive of every conversation on the social network.
Publishing an X reply requires Creator or Growth, an active X authorization, and an inbound item loaded through Replies. It uses the plan’s X units, not an AI credit. See Billing and AI credits and X.
Work through the queue
1
Select accounts
Use the account row to include one or more connected X, Threads, Facebook, or Instagram accounts. A platform warning can appear when one account fails to load even if the other selected accounts remain available.
2
Choose open or completed items
Needs reply hides items already marked complete. All replies includes the complete queue and labels dismissed items Read.Use Search replies to find an author, handle, platform, or phrase in the source post or current inbound item. Choose Refresh to request current network activity.
3
Open the conversation
Hover or focus a row to reveal its controls. Open Preview for the quick composer, or select the row to expand the full conversation inline. The expanded view shows the source post and available conversation messages. Choose Show N earlier replies when older context is collapsed. An Ongoing label means the item is a follow-up after an earlier owner reply.
4
Draft the response
Type a manual response, insert an AI suggestion, or improve a non-empty draft. Add an emoji if needed and stay inside the reply-specific character limit shown by the composer.
5
Review and send
Check the recipient, source post, conversation, claims, tone, links, and any promises before choosing Send. A confirmed send marks the inbound item complete and advances the queue.
Use AI-suggested replies
Activating the quick composer or expanding a conversation requests up to three suggestions. Omni Writes grounds them in the available original post, incoming comment, chronological conversation, platform rules, and available writing context.1
Read the full suggestion
Each chip shows a short cue. Hover, focus, or select it to open the complete suggestion. Previewing or copying text does not place it in your draft.
2
Insert or replace deliberately
The first Insert or Replace draft action for a suggestion bundle displays a 1 credit charge. If manual text already exists, Omni Writes asks before replacing it.That paid selection unlocks the sibling suggestions in the same bundle. Reusing the selected suggestion or switching to an unlocked sibling is shown as free.
3
Edit the result
The selected text remains an editable draft. Change any wording you need, or choose Start over to clear the AI-assisted draft and return to manual writing.
A first insertion requires a current suggestion receipt. If a preview expires, reopen or refresh the suggestions before trying to insert it.
Improve or rewrite a reply draft
Improve sends the current non-empty draft through a separate AI rewrite action. The control displays 1 credit before a new Improve request.- Improve uses the same conversation, platform rules, and available writing context as the suggestion workflow.
- The result is still a draft. Review it before sending.
- If you continue typing while Improve runs, Omni Writes keeps your newer text and offers Use AI result or Discard when the rewrite returns.
- If the outcome is unknown, Recover Improve replays the same request instead of starting a new charge.
- If credits are unavailable, the original draft and request are preserved for a later retry.
A paid suggestion selection or Improve action settles only after a usable result is durably delivered. Failed selection attempts and failed or unchanged Improve results are refunded. If the outcome is still being reconciled, use the offered recovery action instead of starting a second request.
Send safely
AI text is never sent automatically. You can always write manually, edit a suggestion or improved draft, and make the final Send decision yourself.- Send does not consume an AI credit; it publishes the reviewed draft to the selected conversation.
- The server applies the connected account’s reply-specific character and formatting rules.
- If a provider confirms failure, correct the draft or connection and send again.
- If the publish outcome is unknown, keep the composer open and choose Check publish status. Omni Writes checks the existing attempt without sending a duplicate reply.
- A reconnect warning must be resolved in Connect accounts before publishing can continue.
Keep the queue focused
- Choose Mark done when an item no longer needs a response. It leaves Needs reply and remains visible as Read under All replies.
- Follow-up activity can return as a new Ongoing item with the earlier conversation attached.
- Remind later currently shows a notice but does not save a reminder or move the item.
- Drafts and unresolved recovery actions are retained for the current signed-in browser session; do not rely on them as a cross-device archive.
Keyboard shortcuts
Shortcuts are ignored while you are typing in an editable field.Recover loading or AI failures
- Read any platform warning above the queue; reconnect only the affected account when requested.
- Choose Refresh when the feed is stale or Retry when the complete feed failed to load.
- For a suggestion failure, keep the manual draft and choose Retry suggestions.
- For an unknown suggestion insertion or Improve outcome, use the offered recovery action so the original request and billing identity are reused.
- For an unknown Send outcome, check publish status before attempting another reply.
