Open Channels

Go to Settings → Channels.

Connect LinkedIn

Choose LinkedIn, complete OAuth, and approve posting permissions.

Confirm the profile

Verify your LinkedIn name appears as connected.

Publish a post

Select LinkedIn, write the post, attach images or one video, optionally add alt text for images, and choose Publish now or a schedule time. Visibility options follow what the LinkedIn composer exposes for the connection.

Image and GIF notes

  • GIF is allowed as a multi-image image upload (not a separate GIF picker slot).
  • GIF frame count is capped at 250 frames.
  • Pixel budget for images is enforced for oversized assets.

Common problems

  • 422 / author errors: Reconnect LinkedIn so Omni Writes has a valid author URN.
  • Image dropped: Re-upload under 10 MB and retry.
  • Video rejected: Check duration (3s–30 min) and file size (≤500 MB).
  • Authorization expired: Reconnect from Channels, then retry from Calendar.
