# LinkedIn

> Connect a LinkedIn profile and understand text, image, multi-image, video, alt text, and processing limits.

Use LinkedIn in Omni Writes for personal-profile publishing: text, images, multi-image posts, and video. Schedule from the composer or Calendar.

## Connect LinkedIn

## Publish a post

Select LinkedIn, write the post, attach images or one video, optionally add alt text for images, and choose **Publish now** or a schedule time. Visibility options follow what the LinkedIn composer exposes for the connection.

### Image and GIF notes

* GIF is allowed as a multi-image image upload (not a separate GIF picker slot).
* GIF frame count is capped at 250 frames.
* Pixel budget for images is enforced for oversized assets.

## Common problems

* **422 / author errors:** Reconnect LinkedIn so Omni Writes has a valid author URN.
* **Image dropped:** Re-upload under 10 MB and retry.
* **Video rejected:** Check duration (3s–30 min) and file size (≤500 MB).
* **Authorization expired:** Reconnect from Channels, then retry from Calendar.
