# 14-day free trial

> Understand what the free trial includes, its AI and scheduling limits, X availability, and what happens to scheduled posts when it ends.

The free trial gives an eligible new Omni Writes account **14 days** to use the core Creator workflow. It does not require a payment card, does not automatically start a paid subscription, and includes **500 AI credits** for the full trial period.

## What is included

During the trial, you can use the core writing and publishing workflow on **Threads, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages, and professional Instagram accounts**:

* **Voice Intelligence** and **Omni Intelligence**
* **Plan**, **Write in My Voice**, and **Adapt by Network**
* The composer, supported media, Calendar, and non-X scheduling and publishing
* **AI Replies** where that channel supports Replies

You can connect eligible non-X accounts, prepare destination-specific versions, send posts, and monitor their status in Calendar. Social networks still apply their own account, authorization, and content rules.

## Trial limits

An active scheduled destination is one still waiting to publish, processing, or needing recovery. Published and cancelled destinations no longer use an active scheduling slot.

## X is not part of the free trial

The trial does **not** include X. You cannot start an X connection, publish to X, use X Replies, or consume X publishing units until you upgrade to a paid Creator or Growth subscription.

If you need X, choose Creator or Growth first, then follow the [Connect accounts](/account/connections) guide. Your connected X account must still approve the required X permissions.

## When the trial ends

You can upgrade to a paid Creator or Growth subscription before the 14 days end to keep using the workflow and preserve access to your available paid-plan allowances.

If you do not upgrade:

* Your trial access ends; there is no automatic charge.
* New publishing, scheduling, and AI work are unavailable until you upgrade.
* Connected non-X accounts stay connected. You do not need to reconnect them after you subscribe.
* **Scheduled posts are retained, not deleted.** They remain visible in Calendar.

When a scheduled time arrives while the trial is inactive, that post is marked **Failed** and is not sent. Calendar may show: **Your free trial ended. This post did not go live.**

If you later start a paid Creator or Growth plan:

* Posts that already published during the trial stay published.
* Posts whose scheduled time is still in the future keep their original times and publish as scheduled.
* Posts whose scheduled time already passed while unpaid stay **Failed**. They do not go live automatically, and Omni Writes does not move them to a new date.

  A missed scheduled time stays missed. Upgrading does not backdate or auto-publish posts that were due while your trial was inactive.

## Eligibility

The public free trial is intended for eligible new accounts and can be used once per account. Omni Writes confirms eligibility when you start it. An active paid Creator or Growth subscription, or a previous trial, makes an account ineligible.
