# Connect accounts

> Add social channels, understand account requirements, and recover expired authorization.

Manage social connections from **Settings → Channels**.

| Channel   | Destination requirement                     |
| --------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| X         | An X account authorized through Omni Writes |
| Threads   | A Threads profile eligible for API access   |
| LinkedIn  | A personal LinkedIn profile                 |
| Instagram | A Business or Creator account               |
| Facebook  | An eligible Facebook Page                   |

## Add a connection

When an account shows **Reconnect Required**, repeat authorization before retrying failed content.

  Disconnecting does not delete published social posts, but it can prevent future scheduled items from publishing.
